Looking to improve your SAT scores? Many private and out-of-state colleges require SAT scores as part of the application. Similarly, certain scholarships may be dependent on your score.

We’ve helped many high school juniors, seniors, and student athletes boost their scores with our personalized, one-on-one SAT preparation. Our coaches will tutor you on the reading, writing, and math concepts you struggle with, which are identified through our free assessment. How does test prep tutoring work at Miracle Math?

First, each student takes a free assessment that measures their current skills and knowledge. It takes place in person at our learning center and is about an hour long. Second, each student fills out a form that covers their history with the exam: how many previous attempts, what were your scores, and when is your next exam scheduled.

Next, we’ll use your assessment results and exam history to build you a personalized study plan. We’ll also recommended a weekly schedule to maximize your progress before your exam. However, this schedule is not your only option; we have a number of flexible plans available to accommodate your budget and schedule.

Once we determine your plan and schedule, we’ll match you with your team of expert academic coaches.

Over the weeks leading up to your exam, your coaches will help you master any difficult math or language arts concepts identified by your assessment. We’ll also administer practice tests to measure your progress and build your confidence. Finally, your coaches will teach you powerful test-taking strategies that will help you tackle challenging questions.

Finally, it’s time to take your exam! After weeks of preparation, you’ll have stronger knowledge, skills, and confidence compared to your previous attempts.

More Test Prep FAQs

We recommend coming in for your free assessment at least 10 weeks before your scheduled exam date. Typically, we aim for to start weekly study sessions about 6-8 weeks before your next exam date.

However, depending on your assessment and history with the exam, we may determine that you’ll need more or less time to prepare. If you need more time, we’ll help you reschedule your exam to a more suitable date.

We offer in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring plans. In-person tutoring takes place at our learning center in Fairfield, CA.

We have different tiers of plans available based on a few factors: how much preparation you need, how soon your exam is, your schedule, and your budget.

We also offer two scheduling options: a set weekly schedule or a flexible bundle of sessions. With the latter option, you purchase a bundle of sessions and can pick when you want to use them.
